So my buddy had all of us head here for lunch before heading out for the rest of the day. Only he didn't tell us it was a vegetarian restaurant and that he took care of the order. So what did we get?
3 Different HUGE Dosa with potatoes, chickpeas, cauliflower, and a bunch of other stuff on the side, as well as a few kati rolls, several types of naan bread and a sauteed paneer dish. All of which were fantastically delicious. We ate just about everything as everything was carbs.
I would come back again to try to curries and things we didn't have a chance to try. -

This review is long overdue...started coming here 12 months back and every-time we have come here, we have had a stellar experience. I have brought out of town friends, my parents and everybody really enjoyed the food here. We have tried a lot of things off the menu and some of our favorites are Chole Bhature, Saag and Maki Roti, Raj Kachori and Gol gappas. They have an extensive menu and is vegetarian only.
Last few times we came here, we got to experience the great service offered by one of the employees 'Shahid', he took really good care of us and helped us choose the food from the menu given folks in my party had food allergies (lactose intolerant, nuts allergy). He went out of his way to make sure we were being taken by the serving staff, shout out to the staff and Shahid for such an amazing experience.
Overall a great spot and worth driving all the way from JC downtown!! -

About 5 years ago, Mithras was a happening place. Cool, hip, with a lot of vibe, great service and creative and tasteful menu and amazing mithai.
The first thing that we started to notice was the the taste of the food started to decline. It was still picture worthy in terms of presentation and menu description. We no longer desired to go there as a choice. Choke bhature did not taste like choke bhature. Thali only looked good but taste was disappointing.
Then they started to raise the prices on mithai. That was the clincher. There are a lot of good options on oak tree road and this this place does not cut it anymore. -

Pit stop from Phily to Scarsdale. Target was to pick up some kachori and sweets and get a quick bite - sev puri and stuff. The sev puri was so so but the cachori chaat was amazing - though too much dahi.
So the wife wants a thaali but we opted for roti and black daal which I said I would share. This was unbelievable! I actually ended up eating way more than I thought I would. The combination with the chilies and onions was excellent and tasted like home food. I highly recommend it. -

I've been here several times and seemed to have enjoyed it more in the past.. maybe I've had an overdose of chaat and Mithaas?
The chaat platter - 5 different chaats: bhel, sev puri, dahi puri, papdi chaat, pani puri - was just okay. The quantity seemed to be lesser than what we have had before.. the puris of the pani puri were way too big and the pani was way too spicy. The bhel and sev puri were just okay. The dahi puri and the papdi chaat were good.
The masala chaas was yummy!!
